I’m Riya Prasad, a UX Designer with a developer's mind and a designer's heart. My journey into UX began with a deep curiosity about how people interact with technology. Early in my career as a frontend developer, I found myself drawn to the design side of things. I wasn’t just coding features; I was imagining how those features would be used, questioning whether they truly met user needs. This realization sparked my transition into UX.

My inspiration comes from everyday interactions. I observe how people navigate the physical and digital worlds—whether it’s how someone uses a public kiosk, interacts with a website, or even reads a book on their phone. I’m fascinated by the psychology behind these interactions, which drives my commitment to user research and data-driven design decisions. My work philosophy revolves around empathy—understanding user frustrations and joys—and turning them into actionable design solutions. To sharpen my skills, I’ve pursued certifications in UX and dedicated myself to constant learning. I find joy in collaboration, turning design concepts into functional realities with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. Beyond the screens, I love photography, reading, and spending time capturing moments that tell stories. Designing for people and learning their stories is my inspiration.
